In this VFR - GPS Flight Plan we take off from the airport of Dongola (HSDN) [Sudan], fly following the course of the Nile, and land in the airport of Merowe (HSMN) [Sudan].

Find below a short extract and screenshots of the main points of the route. In this journey around Africa I have used the Cessna 172S (Skyhawk)

Taking off from the airport of Dongola.

Dongola Airport (IATA: DOG, ICAO: HSDN; Arabic: مطار دنقلا) is an airport serving Dongola, the capital city of the Northern state in Sudan.

The airport resides at an elevation of 773 feet (236 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 17/35 with an asphalt surface measuring 3,000 by 45 metres (9,843 ft × 148 ft). (*1) 

Following again the course of the Nile, passing by the numerous small villages in its banks.

Passing near Ed Debba.

 Al Dabbah (also known as Ed Debba, El Debba, El Debbah or Ed Debbah) is a town on the river banks of the Nile, which is served by the Al Dabbah Airport. It has an estimated population of 52,000.

The town is antipodal to Tahiti. (*1)

Final approach to the airport of Merowe.  For some reason the ILS approach did not work this time in FS2020, so we had to change to manual approach in the last moment.
